Which side is left, and which side is right?

For automotive parts, the left and right sides are considered as if you are sitting in the car.

This makes the driver side the left side, and the passenger side the right side.

Parts ordered for the incorrect side are still subject to our 20% restocking fee, and shipping is not refundable.


Are all parts listed currently in stock?

We try to stock as many common parts as possible, but sometimes we do have to order parts out of American Honda distribution centers. This can add 1-5 business days of processing time. We will notify you of any delays. If you are in a pinch and need your parts fast, send us an email or leave a note on your order and we can double check availability for you.

There is more than one part number listed. How can I find out which one I need?

This could be because a part number has been updated, or due to different trim levels. If you have any doubts about which part number to choose, please do not hesitate to contact us before ordering. Our goal is to send you the correct parts the first time, so you can get the job done!

How can I find my paint code?

The Honda paint code is located on the Service Tag sticker on the driver’s side door jamb, at the bottom of the label, under the barcode. A paint code can contain letters and numbers, such as NH797M or Y70P.

Can I get more illustrations or photos?

Our illustrations are automatically pulled from Honda's collision catalog, but some illustrations may be missing or lack some details. If you have any questions about an illustration, or if you'd like to request a photo, contact us and we will be happy to help.

Do you sell Genuine Honda parts? Are any parts used?

We operate out of a licensed Honda dealer, and all of our parts are sourced directly from American Honda. We do not sell any aftermarket, used, or salvaged parts.

What is a core charge?

A core charge is applied to parts that are remanufactured or recycled through American Honda, such as brake calipers, starters, alternators, wheels, and catalytic converters. The original part will need to be sent back to us for processing. A valid core must be a genuine Honda part, and must not have been previously remanufactured. The core charge will be refunded via the original payment method upon receipt of a valid core. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Can I buy parts for my Acura?

We only have licensing to order parts that are a direct fit on US-market Honda vehicles. Unfortunately, this means that we cannot order Acura-specific parts, or parts designed for other markets, such as Canada or Japan. Our catalog is automatically pulled from Honda's collision catalog, and sometimes these parts may be listed in error. These parts will be marked as Not For Sale as we find them.


How will my parts be shipped?

All orders will be shipped via UPS or USPS. Some parts are too large to be shipped, and are available for local pickup in Lisle, IL only. We cannot transfer parts to other Honda dealers. We cannot ship any body panels, bumpers, windshield glass, headliners, or other oversized items. We cannot ship HAZMAT (hazardous material) such as batteries or fluids.

Can I pick up my order in store?

Local pickup is available for orders over $5.00 at our Lisle, IL location only, which is just west of Chicago. We cannot transfer parts to other Honda dealers.

How can I order parts for pickup?

Local pickup should appear as a shipping method for orders over $5.00 if you enter an address in Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin. It may not appear when using PayPal Express Checkout, in which case you can enter a note on the order and we can waive the shipping fee and hold the order for you, or you can use the Secure Checkout option and use a credit card. If you are experiencing difficulty, or if you wish to pick up parts with a billing address out of state, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

How soon will I receive my parts?

This depends on if the parts are in stock locally, or if they need to be ordered out of our American Honda distribution centers, which could add 1-5 business days of processing time, depending on the warehouse location. If you would like to check our stock on a particular item, please feel free to contact us.

Do you ship outside the US?

Unfortunately, we cannot ship any parts outside of the United States.

Why does the box my parts were shipped in look used?

In order to save shipping costs and to be environmentally friendly, we reuse some shipping boxes and containers. We do not sell any used parts.

Why can’t my order be shipped?

Due to HAZMAT shipping regulations, we cannot ship batteries, airbags, oil, or other fluids. There are also some parts that are simply too large to ship via UPS, such as bumper covers, headliners, body panels, or roof moldings. These parts are available for local pickup at our Lisle, IL location only. If you have any questions about shipping your order, please contact us.

Why does this part say "Contact us for availability"?

Some parts may be controlled by VIN, such as seat belts, airbags, audio units, and some other parts. These parts are ordered using a different protocol than usual, and we may need more information to order these parts, and we will need to confirm the VIN. This can vary by part, so if you are interested in ordering a controlled part, please contact us and we will be happy to help.


How can I return a part that I ordered?

We accept returns on most items within 30 days of purchase. We cannot accept returns on electrical items, or parts that have been opened or re-sealed. All parts must be returned in their original, intact packaging. We reserve the right to refuse any return. Returns that are accepted are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer. Partial credit may be available if a return does not fully meet our return standards. What is the warranty policy?

Most Genuine Honda Parts carry a 12 month warranty against manufacturer defect, with the exception of batteries, mufflers, and general maintenance items (items that are cleaned or adjusted as part of normal owner maintenance). Mufflers carry a limited lifetime warranty. All items will be inspected and if a manufacturer defect in material or workmanship is found we will repair or replace the item free of charge. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

The Honda Genuine Parts Warranty is valid at any authorized Honda dealer with proof of purchase. Be sure to keep your original invoice for your records.
